From v6.1, you can play the video as it is on the photo screen like the standard photo app. The following video operation UI is displayed on the photo screen, and it is possible to change the speed of a single video and repeat playback.
Also, I think depending on the situation you are using, you may not want to automatically play the video. In that case, if you turn on “Settings > Slideshow > Disable autoplay video” in the app, you can use it with the previous video playback UI. (This setting was added in v6.2)
Below is the previous UI. This uses the iOS standard video player.
